I'm Adam Malin, the creator of the website https://eternalword.xyz and its clone https://theeternalword.eth.limo . My goal is to secure the Holy Bible in many different languages for the world to access across time and space using decentralized systems like IPFS and ENS.
Now, we have the opportunity to take things one step further. With the advent of Ordinal Inscriptions technology, we can embed the English King James Version of the Old and New Testaments in the form of two .txt files as HEX code directly on the Bitcoin Blockchain. The file size limitation for Ordinal Inscriptions is 4MB so this will require us to split up the Bible into two files. This eliminates the need for IPFS or DNS and ensures that the Holy Bible remains accessible to all, forever.
However, this new technology comes at a cost. I estimate that it will take approximately 0.2 bitcoin in fees to make this text file accessible on the Bitcoin Blockchain. That's where you come in. I'm asking for your support in covering these fees through Tallycoin, a fundraising platform similar to Kickstarter, but with the added benefit of accepting self-hosted Bitcoin donations.
I believe that this project is important because it ensures that the Bible remains accessible to all, regardless of time or place. By embedding it on the Bitcoin Blockchain, we can preserve its integrity and ensure that it remains unchanged for future generations.
