I don't know. On one hand, I certainly don't want violent white nationalists free to roam society. On the other, it does seem that even some violent white nationalists can be rehabilitated. Derek Black is one, and there was another guy I read about who also renounced the movement. I currently don't have much hope for Enrique Tarrio and the other Republican voters who tried to kill Pence, Pelosi, and Ocasio-Cortez to reinstall Trump though.
Honestly, my general take is there are far too many people in prison, but probably some of them should be in there. I do wish prisons were run better. No reason you can't lock someone up without torturing them. Even violent white nationalists deserve to be treated with humanity while incarcerated.
