- Sweden wanted to question assange in 2010
- Sweden asked him to return, he offered to be questioned remotely fearing US extradition (clearly reasonable), wasn't taken up
- Sweden stopped pursuing
- EAW only issued a year later in 2012 amid fresh rumours of US involvement
- Assange hides in embassy
