Well I think I figured out my poor performance on my Ryzen7 Beelink.
Seems like it was the cheap NVMe drive that was in there.
I had an extra samsung evo laying around, so benchmarked it against the rando drive that was in my machine.
BIG difference.
And as always massive thanks to #nixos for making it trivial to completely refromat my computer and start over :)
