I haven't talked much about it here, but I was fired back at the end of September from my employer of a dozen years.

I've been job-hunting, fruitlessly and frustratingly, for over six months now - and I discovered today that my unemployment benefits ONLY lasted those six months.

I have some savings to lean on, but ... I don't even have that relative pittance coming in weekly, now. And inflation is still fucking all of us in the ass.

What else can I even do at this point? 🧵
