In San Jose, a Doberman puppy followed me home from a walk. No one ever claimed her, so I kept her, named her Greta. She was like Pepper, I loved her. She was a big help with burglaries too. Our neighborhood had frequent daylight home burglaries. We had a mouthy Keeshond, Baron, when we got Greta, and when we left we'd leave Baron in the house and Greta in the backyard. Several times the neighbors on either side of us were robbed, but they skipped our house. š
