The only thing I have to add to the fedi discourse is a story about my friend a. Friend A worked at spacex in 2016 for less than a year. He worked 70 hours a week because that was the expectation. Musk demanded that kind of work commitment. He then later went to [small engineering subcontractor] despite trying to stay at least 2 years so he didn't seem like a flaky employee. Anything Niglon says about recruiting the best talent is fake and gay. He just wants to shovel more cheap talent into his engine. There's no one left who wants to work for him in the US so he's trying to get talent from elsewhere. Maybe he should not have burned out the local talent in the first place?
