My point is more that your suggestion that 3rd party app stores, authorized and effectively "policed" by Apple, are going to allow more of this kind of scam...a scam that Apple itself allowed.
I don't see why that would be. Given Apple's control over their authorization, any significant number of complaints against 3rd party stores would be hazardous to their continued survival.
