Right, so... abusers get away with more lesser abuse, by going and causing greater abuse, to make us too reluctant to complain. This lesser abuse is exploitation, which empowers the abusers, who use that power to cause even more empowering, even greater abuse. End result is colonialism: a "wealthy country" full of miserable, traumatized people afraid to stop the cycle of abuse, and "colonies" of horrifically abused slave labor.
