HaikuOS is the operating system that refuses to die. Based off of BeOS (and NewOS kernel), which only lived for 5 years (1995-2000), HaikuOS continues to reach their funding goal every year, so clearly people use it.

But I never saw any advantage of BeOS or HaikuOS. I most certainly do not like the user interface. Yet, there is a following, and they keep developing their OS (operating system).

FYI: It is not Linux or even BSD. HaikuOS is something else.
