That's actually not the definition of what makes it a fallacy at all but nevermind.
The point you should make is that Putin wouldn't take the interview if he thought he wouldn't be able to get his message out to a wider audience. He trusts that it won't be a hatchet-job of deceptive edits to make him say things he didn't say.
Stone gives Putin an opportunity to speak and his audience an opportunity to draw their own conclusions. What an absolute thoughtcrime!
