TLDR;

He basically makes the claim that what we call the "new world" north and south America is actually the "old world" and that all human migration was out of North and south America. Very similar to Jared diamond' s "guns germs and steel" its all about geography.

For example it takes way less energy, 4X, to sail from north America to Europe because of the Gulf stream and wind patterns.
