I really don't miss that, not at all. It inhibits the 'social' part of social media; difficult to have much of a conversation when a thousand people are all saying 'lol what an idiot' about something a politician said, and trying to get the most retweets from it.
(Also, easy to ignore/block those few accounts who persist in that bullshit.)
