my kitchenaid is from the 80s and so are my attachments, but i will say the roto slicer is actually great for certain tasks. need several pounds of potatoes sliced into even disks then use the slicer, need to grate pounds of carrots or zucchini? the grater wheel is great because you can set a giant bowl underneath and do it all in one go. the meat grinder is always a battle with trying not to overheat though
