Griffith (nprofile…drjd) I am faced with a new challenge. If I take the lid off, the slowcooker no longer simmers it and it doesn't have a higher setting. I lined the edges of the lid with paper towels in an attempt to wick the water away but keep the heat in. That seems to be working to some degree.
