This is the dominant model, one where we're supposed to be grateful when billionaires "let" us do anything at all

We're also supposed to always think through the lens of "what would our owner think/want"

And when we don't, even if we create things that are good, meaningful, and that audiences, customers, or community seek, they pat us on the head or if they really don't like our "tone" they cut us down
