The podcast makes total sense of why so many bitcoin maxis seem to quote the Satoshi line about if you don't get it, I don't have time to explain.
It's an excuse for a fundamental failing, that a certain high profile demographic in the bitcoin space isn't wired for successful orange pilling of the masses. We can't be good at everything and if bitcoin adoption is to fly, those getting in the way need to be big enough to hand over the batten.
