The default server should be EITHER one generated randomly OR no default server, new user picks one.

It should NOT be #mastodonsocial because *that could be sold into private hands.* Which appears to be the plan.

I don't think people get how serious this is.

But until people do, #defederation =right response. And moving your account off of Mastodon.Social. Next post shows how.
