Its obvious what's happening: coinbase is the custodian for the majority of this bitcoin and coinbase is engaged in bitcoin leveraging party tricks.
Goldbugs have seen the price of gold manipulated like this with paper gold for decenia. It's now being put in place for btc because all these large holders are using one single custodian.
