When I was a teenager, we used to talk about what we'd do "when the world ends". Later, in my 20s and 30s, we'd talk about what we'd do "when the shit goes down".
Almost like we knew or something.
As a middle aged man with kids, I swing between grief, anger and schadenfreude. I wonder what more I can do. Beyond criminal activity I don't have an answer.
