Thoughts on the ASL broadcast of the #NHL game tonight:
I loved almost all of it. I didn’t catch much of what the announcers were signing (my ASL is a notch or two below rudimentary), but watching their reactions and expressions was great!
And the rich stats displayed were fantastic!
What I didn’t love—and this will sound ableist as hell—was the 10-second delay between the video and the audio. Yes, I’m not the target audience. I’ll try again next—perhaps last—game. #hnom #StanleyCupFinals
