Going through critiques and critiquing the work of peers taught me super valuable life skills. And that’s just having taken a couple of college level ceramics courses. High school ceramics didn’t have nearly the emphasis on critique, though I think the 2-D courses had more of that. One of many reasons why art education needs to be prioritized and valued significantly more by society.
