Brodie Robertson on Nostr: The criticism of certain design aesthetics as not "modern" especially within the FOSS ...
The criticism of certain design aesthetics as not "modern" especially within the FOSS world has always felt weird to me, why is it that you feel that constantly chasing the latest trend is a good idea, rather than encouraging a cohesive design and addressing the drawbacks of certain approaches. This is a criticism often leveraged at KDE, whilst giant corporate projects can afford to waste money doing a UI redesign every 2 years do you really want to see all that effort wasted.
