The ever-receding horizon of the hydrogen economy:
When I was doing my PhD in the mid-1990s, a fellow postgraduate researcher was doing a PhD on the forthcoming hydrogen economy.... and he used to finish his research presentations by saying it was around ten years away...
Now some 30 years later, I see commentary on the forthcoming hydrogen economy still seems to think its about a decade away.
Hmmm.... I'm not going to be banking on it arriving anytime soon then.
