I also don't think many understand just how exploitative rural internet typically is , you pay 2 to 3 times more for worse service that goes out with the power which is more and more frequent due to climate change. Consolidated communications is the bad one out here in Vermont ,we were paying something like 150 a month for what amounted to 56.6k service that would go in and out every hour in 2020-2021 ..
