I got the bright idea how to mount my camera so I can record what I’m playing and show a good view of my hands (see below).
I can also do an aerial shot with some of the tripods I have but that’s a royal pain.
The piece I chose to test this with (Motherless Child) was chosen for its dynamic extremes rather than my mood. If you’ve ever seen a kid slowly start whimpering and it builds until it’s in a full out terror, then you will understand my arrangement of this piece.
Both the mount and my beloved piano performed flawlessly (which is more than I can say about my performance). For the purposes created, this is good enough to share.
