We've been exporting labor and production for 30 years. We stopped seeing real wage growth in 2001 while the cost of the everything has gone up by at least double.
Americans are working longer hours and have less discretionary income than ever. Household debt is ballooning and defaults are beginning to peak again.
I can appreciate the ideal of free markets, but we don't live in one and the results are obvious. The middle class is eroding.
