Hiking Mt Baker Railroad Grade part 9. Here I'm up in the alpine meadows along Railroad Grade trail. This is mostly heather on the ground. The sharp ridge is actually material pushed by the glacier in millennia past. It's another half mile or more up the trail. With the mist drifting through it feels like someplace out of Tolkien.
