People always say UI development is so hard. Nuts. Writing UI code is easy, system-level programming is hard. Kernel code has to be tight and efficient enough to respond to events within microseconds or nanoseconds. A UI can take up to 100millisec and users won't notice.
Hot take: People talk about UI dev being hard because only mediocre devs are doing it. The good devs do the really hard stuff.
