Question, I am brand new to nostr still a bit confused as to how to put all the pieces together. I am a big fan of decentralization which is why I run a node for presearch.com on my pc. I have docker installed on my pc for my presearch node if I want to install a relay for nostr do I need to us a vm provider? Can I not set up a rely on my pc using docker without a vm?
If the overlords decide that decentralization is a threat to their desire for control and censorship and begin to apply pressure to the vm companies that could pose a problem it seems that thousands of relays by individuals such as myself would make the process potentially more stable against the long arm of tyranny.
So can I should I run my own rely?
