<rant>Unlike many of my peers, I tend to embrace changes in language, even when they sound wrong to my ear. If you want to say you have "less options" when I think "fewer options" is better, fine, whatevs.
But the trend that has turned "awesome" into a synonym for "fantastic" have obliterated one of the best terms in the English language when describing the awesome devastation of the LA fires, and I resent it.
Evolve the language, sure, but for fuck's sake, don't break something that was useful in the process.</rant>
