My long time argument that debates mean basically nothing in the modern era and pointless might not be true this time. The reaction to Biden's performance, which I did not watch but read "highlights" of, is so bad that people are genuinely wondering if his faculties are all there.
It is a disaster for a staff who has done everything in their power to avoid unscripted things with the media all year, and now we all are clear why they've all been worried.
