Microsoft's AI feature "Recall" is being relaunched, taking screenshots of users' computer activities. Recall poses privacy risks, as it may capture sensitive information and turn a user's PC into a device that surveils others.
Security researcher Kevin Beaumont found Recall's filter for sensitive information was unreliable and the encrypted database was protected by a simple four-digit PIN.
