Our cat foster agency has a "safety net" program, where pet owners dealing with housing instability or other crises can put their pet in a foster home while they sort things out.
Our current foster cat is one of these. I probably won't be posting pictures of him like I normally would because it feels exploitative, and he's still someone else's cat.
