Reminded yet again how much I hate mandatory binding consumer arbitration agreements where there is not really any realistic way for the less-powerful individual to negotiate or opt out. The are, in my view, unconscionable and pernicious, and constitute a serious threat to protecting individuals against exploitative business practices.
At the very least, all civil-rights claims should be excluded from mandatory (non-consensual) consumer arbitration.
