When we were building for first version of Mutiny Wallet (npub1mut…23vg) almost a year ago, I had applied for an Apple Dev account so we could testflight our app to a few people.
One day after approval I was banned for all of a sudden being a "sanctioned individual". I had repealed it three times and was chatting with their support for over a week with no success. There's no recourse, no proving innocence, nothing I could do to convince them I wasn't guilty. They had already made up their mind.
It was at this moment that the crazy fucking idea of pushing a real lightning node to the web was born.
