Alcohol doses have also remained mostly consistent throughout history. People can drink a pint or two of beer, a glass of wine, they're okay. Liquor recipes have different flavors and different strains but alcohol percentage per drink type has remained largely unchanged since ancient times. Potheads on the other hand invented pot 60 years ago and ever since then have been designing and breeding new strains of it to bump up THC levels by as much as 5000% and they're still going. They'll vape pure THC. It's like if all alcohol drinkers were native Americans or abbos chugging Listerine on purpose.
