Good guidelines for living together and with oneself. The key is getting many to agree that these are indeed given to man by THE LORD our God, and not his or her God from another religion, who has other commandments which the death of a whole nation or other religion. It is complicated. It is also best to keep our commandments as we know them from our beliefs and try to do no harm.
I heard the following and I had no answer to it: "all religious teachings make people look crazy if they are not used to uphold the 10 commandments"
