"content": "Time for another plant \u0026 hiking thread! This weekend I revisited a favorite location from last year: the Cowlitz Divide on the East slope of Mt Rainier (Tahoma) in the Washington Cascades. Like most of the best trails in this part of the world it starts with a long uphill climb through deep conifer forest. The twisty tree there in the center is a Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata). More to follow. \n1/6\n#hiking #hikingadventures #hikingtrails #PNW #Washington #nativeplants\nhttps://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/113/145/307/684/673/221/original/ed0f931da5b57bdc.jpeg\n",
