In the New York Post, Goodwin claimed "Trump is right on the economy and the border" but Trump's radical increasing of tariffs would ruin our economy, greatly increase inflation, and save billionaires money at the expense of non-billionaires. There was a bipartisan bill that would increase the number of people in the Border Patrol but Trump ordered Republicans to vote against it because Trump wanted to campaign on this issue instead of improving our security at the border. copy:
