The backlash is sad, because the meds DO make a difference upon weight and they DO have benefits for cardiovascular and kidney health. Granted there is definitely some overuse e.g. if you have to lose 10 lbs and have no diabetes/heart/kidney dz, just zip it and walk it off, but these ppl are attacking a major medical breakthrough
