I hope we’ll eventually get new sci-fi TV shows that are located in space and not part of the following franchises: Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Babylon 5, Expanse, Marvel, DC

I like all of them, but I’m also looking forward to seeing something that’s completely new. The last shows that fit this criterion, that I’m aware of, were: “Dark matter”, “Killjoys”, “Foundation”. I can recommend all of them (I only watched S1 of DM).
