blocks or mutes dont work on fedi.

if you block a person, what happens is that you cant see anyone upstream of their post in the thread.

they can still see your posts, respond to them, and generally see the entire thread, also you will see their posts if anyone unblocked reposts or quotes them.

tbh its one way gab was better in addition to groups, but i guess a lot of fedi is limited by the concept of federated accounts.
