Rent-scooters seriously are obnoxiously parked around here. But those people don't take responsibility because it is not 'their scooter'. If it was their own and when it'd get towed away, they'd feel it and be more mindful in the future. I don't see car drivers in rental cars being that obnoxious.
I'm seeing a bit more rental rugged ebikes lately though, which is an improvement as they take up way less space. But those rental scooters are still around and I dislike them.
One cherry on top was once on a rainy day, I saw one parked in the middle of a pedestrian crossing between two road lanes (on that island between the lanes). Full length. That was just asocial to the extreme. Never seen such bullshit before with anything else than rental scooters.
