So, now that the dust has settled, I had to help Mrs CyberTrucker with ransomware on her phone. Backup, flashed a newer ROM, restored. She is now up and running sans Facebook, which is where the picked it up. If I'd known that's what it'd take, I'd have faked a ransom attack years ago.
