#WordWeavers 2411.17 — Who is your MC most grateful for?

Thorn is grateful for Streak. She's well aware (now) that her enthusiasm and bull-like stubbornness could have gotten her killed many times—mostly figuratively, but still. He's always guarded and protected her, and played with her when others thought her so unbearably strange and arrogant. He can center her, calm her, convince people she's just a bit kooky, and pick her up and get her to fly straight. For his trouble, she's taken him along for the ride, saving him from an overbearing parent and seeing that he got educated, and ensuring that he saw the world. Worlds... they are now on the Moon. Together they make a team; apart they'd have been miserable.
