If you're running CLN, you probably have missing UTXOs and you don't know it. Doing a (very slow) full dev rescan since the first day you started running it is very important. Then keep track of the last time you ran it and do it every month.
This is the ~5th occurrence I've heard first hand of this happening, and it usually happens in a large scale because it's otherwise hard to know what you do not know.

In those years, I've had the scariest issues with CLN (db level utxos going missing and shit like that) but the more frequent issues with LND (ram, db size, watchtower stuff).
Saying that one is clearly good and the other one is bad is most certainly generalizing from small sample sizes or anecdotal evidence. It's simply not true.
