Right, I'm seriously considering running my own instance and frankly Mastodon seemed good but recent versions are not as good as older ones (particularly things like the creeping spread of infinite scrolling to things which didn't have it before and could do better without it now and all that "move things under you").
So... any opinion on other fedi software?
Should I just go for microblobpub
npub16j98qkgwv2kzzla5xwskjp34kd0cx7jtun4nk4h3y2k2trwnpvrq72f5qc (npub16j9…f5qc) and be done with all this unnecessary complexity? Or maybe there's something similar to consider?
