Slowly more laws will pass on how it can be exchanged and what the government/corporate approved wallets for spending will be, for safety of course. Unapproved wallets will be taken off phones via the Apple and Google app stores, a monopoly will ensue. Now you’re left with a wallet on a phone that records your movements, transactions and who you interact with which leaves people worse off than what they were before. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll have a couple of good years with trump as he builds the 15 minute cities and the AI farms to govern them. He’ll want as much positivity about crypto as he can. But at the end of the day people who have self custody of wallets will start trading in the black markets over an internet that is monitored by quantum levels of AI. Utopia doesn’t exist.
