"content": "As I said, I practiced criminal law. This is not the slightest bit unusal. People take pleas for time served no matter whether they are innocent or not. Lawyers TRY to make this happen. It's far less dangerous than going for trial you can never predict what a judge or jury will do. The fact is, a trial would mean the USA would go on trial, and what if he was acquited and could claim compensation for all those 12 years? This is thinking like a lawyer.",
